By downloading, installing, or using the Bookshelf Scanner mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Bookshelf Scanner is a mobile application that allows users to scan and catalog their book collections using camera technology and artificial intelligence. The App provides both free and premium subscription services.

3. Subscription Services

The App offers auto-renewable subscription services ("Pro Subscription") with the following terms:

Subscription Name: Pro Monthly Subscription
Duration: 1 month (auto-renewable)
Price: As displayed in the App Store at the time of purchase
Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings
Refunds: Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload or create using the App. By using the App, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services to you.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Use automated systems to access the App without permission

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by Bookshelf Scanner and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bookshelf Scanner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Bookshelf Scanner operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Apple-Specific Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that:

These Terms are between you and Bookshelf Scanner, not Apple
Apple is not responsible for the App or its content
Apple has no obligation to provide support for the App
In the event of App failure, Apple has no warranty obligation
Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms
